The list below shows the total costs of tuition, fees, and health insurance at each MD program in the U.S. during the 2021–2022 academic year. Schools are ranked from high to low according to their cost to out-of-state students. There are a handful of medical schools that do not accept out-of-state candidates; these schools appear at the end of this list.
Additionally, bear in mind that some schools, such as Weill Cornell and Columbia, now offer debt-free financial aid, meaning that eligible students won’t have to take out loans. Depending on your financial need, tuition and fees may be entirely covered. Nevertheless, the full cost of attendance for these schools is listed below.
